Its OK everyone. Corey Knowlton believes the hunt is OK because the IUCN, Cites and WWF support sustainable utilization. (More Hunter smoke screens) Here are some answers to the most common questions being asked: 1: The meat from the Rhino will be distributed to local communities. 2: The Rhino is going to be killed regardless. There is a group of killer rhinos in the area, they are killing other Rhinos. We will target one of these problem animals. A group if specialists have identified the problem animals, members of this group will be with us. 3. The Rhinos final destination has yet to be determined though it will end up in a museum. 4. The hunt will take place in a very thick, brushy area (not ideal for Eco-Tourism). The area is not inside an enclosure so the hunt is in no way a canned hunt. 5. There are approx 1750 Black Rhinos in Namibia (roughly 28% of the total population). They have a quota of every year to deal with the surplus/problem animal issue. Yours Corey
