Its Sally McNaughton and Gunner! Sally is a familiar face to so many of us on the showjumping circuit, and the Sykehouse gang felt she was very deserving of this weeks cover. Especially as the last time she was at Sykehouse, to top off a wonderful few weeks her wagon decided to break and we had the excitement of possibly the biggest recovery truck we had ever seen coming to her rescue! But joking aside, Sally is probably one of the nicest girls you will meet in the sport (and one of the most polite!!). Always a kind word for everyone and very supportive of her fellow Team Yorkshire ladies. Sally & Guns are also the current BS Club Northern Champions for the 70 & 80cm and also Trailblazers Reserve 65cm Champion. Hes a super horse and we are pleased to report that the pair qualified for this years Trailblazers Finals yesterday at Port Royal. Well done Team Gunner! No pressure but bring the title home to Yorkshire this year! You can relax a bit now that the qualifications are under your belt, fix your back and be fighting fit for the championships. We all know its been a mixed and at times very difficult couple of years with the loss of horses and your own injuries but you never whinge about it, are very pragmatic and get on with it! A great supporter of all the Yorkshire venues and a great friend. This week we celebrate Sally and Gunner! Much love from the Syko gang.
