Its Solar Plexus time! In the physical body, the solar plexus is essentially a bundle of nerves that sits behind the stomach, and what is referred to as the pit of the stomach. Hence, the phrases were all familiar with, somewhere along the lines of I just had this feeling in the pit of my stomach... and then likely decided against something. This third chakra is located between the base of the sternum and the naval, and is associated with the color yellow, and the musical notes E and E flat. Our Solar Plexus chakra governs our personal power. Its what supports us in how we show up in our lives, in this world. If this energy center is balanced we are calm, confident, gentle, not easily ruffled. When it is off balance, we can have difficulty making decisions, when we do make them we find ourselves second-guessing them, were more apt to worry what others think of or how they view us, etc. We give our power away, in essence. This seat in our etheric body is what allows us to connect with our authenticity. If I could have a favorite energy center, this would be it. Hands down. But alas, they are all important and must all be tended to in order to properly function and keep us feeling whole. It is our intuition, the processing center for integrating our spiritual sight with our physical aspects. Take some minutes today and check out this meditation.
