Its #TBT (throw back thursday) so we thought we would share this clip from Startup Weekend Cincinnati …. exactly two years ago July 30, 2012 when we were just a mere concept and prototype. We heard about Startup Weekend Cincinnati and thought why not give it a go. Startup Weekend is an event where people can go pitch their idea in :60 seconds. Folks then go around and vote. The chosen ideas stay the remainder of the weekend and formalize their idea into an actual company. Designers, Finance, IT people are all there to help you. At the end of the weekend, each group does a more prepared pitch to a panel of judges and a final winner is chosen. The entire weekend we were told that although our idea was great judges tend to go for the tech type companies. No worries. We werent there to win - but to learn. It was a great experience and guess what?! We WON! So apparently the judges liked to Support the Underdog as well! We feel like weve come a long way in two years thanks to our many wonderful and faithful Ambassadors (both dog and human)!
