Its World Cat Day today! For the rest of the world, this means that there is an extra focus on cats today. But for this page, every day is Cat Day--glad the rest of the world is catching up. Now what we need is a World Anarchy Day on which the whole world celebrates anarchism. Maybe we even need a World Anarchy Cat Day where everybody celebrates cats as the quintessential anarchists. August 17 is Black Cat Appreciation Day and that seems like a great day to celebrate anarchy cats. So we have that to look forward to. :) Did you know, apparently in Athens the year 404 BC was commonly referred to as “the year of anarchy”. This was, of course, LONG before the internet, but its particularly amusing now -- The Year of Anarchy -- 404: Government Not Found.
