Its Xmas soon so Ill take that for a good enough reason to punch some lines down, its been long enough. I am now back home for good no more hospital, that was 6 weeks ago. Great being able to get up whenever you feel like, sleeping in your own bed and going to your own bathroom. Did my first unassisted transfer from chair to bed the other day. Still having OT and PT twice a week. Getting in and out of cars works with a little support. Nice seeing the beaches and rainforest around here such an amazing and beautiful place we live in. Went to Fitzroy Island for the Xmas staff party for the day. Not very chair friendly but with a little help you get around good. Thanks to the crew for getting me set up as a float, nice being in the ocean drifting along in the sun. Very nice place to be. Fantastic boat ride back to cairns while sun is setting above the rainforest. Went to Innisfail to check on the DZ thx Alicia and Wade, happy to see it is still a pretty nice one the new packing shed changed the dynamics a bit for the better which is great to see. Now you just have to get more than 2 fun loads up on a Friday ;) nice to see anyway next time I bring a speed wing down and might try some chair handling.... Had a solid Breaking Bad addiction last week but luckily I run out of gear within 5 days. Weather is still great especially 4 oclock onwards with the fresh breeze from the water coming in and the sky is looking great. Went to green island for my birthday which was a good way to spend that day and night thx Sacha for hooking us up. Snorkelling and swimming in the sun was great, thx Jason and Craig. That island must be the main holiday destination for Chinese and Japanese people. 100:1 ratio during the day at least, but got better once the last ferry went back to the mainland. The last week I spent mainly in bed, due to a pressure sore on my foot. Note to myself always have shoes on while sitting in your chair. I would have watched every movie known to mankind by now. If you have any recommendations, your advice is more then welcome ;) Other than that it is Christmas time, which I always forget since there is no snow here and I am wheeling around barefoot and in shorts at 10 at night. Just wishing everybody a great Christmas time and just to be on the safe side if I wont write before happy new year to everybody 2015 it only will get better!!! Regards Jonas
