Its a beautiful morning! Thanks to my amazing Bella Schultz I was given something worthy of someone in my shape to sleep on last night in Billys room and she helped to alleviate a sleep deprived full blown panic attack meltdown. I got a solid almost 4 hours last night on a real mattress and feel like a million bucks. But the real news is that hes talking today! He said Hi Dad to his father and Love you too when his dad was leaving. He have verbalized that hes in the hospital, knows its 2014, can say full name/bday. Hes eaten a little bit of yogurt and applesauce and is drinking from a straw. He wants badly to get up and use the restroom, but cant until PT clears him - so hes successfully but begrudgingly using the urinal. Hes been alert enough to say a few sentences to every visitor this morning. Sleeping deeply in between. My knee is less swollen today and isnt any more painful than my usual fibro pain. My hip, neck and shoulders feel like I went a few rounds with a grassy median, but itll work out. My workmates have all been amazing to help get my sub plans into the hands of those who need them even with no internet at work (since Friday)! :O I have been brought so many little necessities and even what feel like luxury items that I dont know what to do with myself. Im kinda proud of myself for asking for and accepting help from others - a skill I am really not good at. Billy has already reached every goal on his goal list for today already - Im going to make my goal to just give answers to questions rather than elaborating the way I do, in great detail... =O My longer term goal is for both Billy and I to be sitting in the Eau Gallie Auditorium for Thursday nights opening of the fall play. I think its doable. Again, many thanks to way too many to mention from the prayers and texts to coffee, food, slurpies, and other such goodness. So blessed. :)
