Its a massive failure of leadership, cowardice and fear by some police officers, their police and civilian leadership, state and federal prosecutors. I have never seen an agency such as police department leaders and union reps threatening citizens, threatening elected and appointed officials and they are not being prosecuted or held accountable. This is the culture which needs to change but I fear that this current class of so called leaders, dont even have the integrity, honor, respect or discipline to police their own. Think about what the US Military and Federal Agents would be like if they were allowed to operate this way! This is a crisis in America and it is not just about unarmed people of color being gunned down, police officers or police unions, it is about those who have sold themselves, some are covering their tails because they have engaged in some of the same behaviors, so, how can they clean up or hold their fellow officers accountable? This group needs some outside invention to bring them back into line! It is a failure of leadership, cronyism, fraud, corruption, bribery and intimidation.
