Its a misconception by the world that the church thinks we are - TopicsExpress

Its a misconception by the world that the church thinks we are better than everyone else. I believe the thought stems from the guilt they have for remaining in their sin without repentance. The truth is that I am a Christian and go to church because I am weak, i am no good, I am a piece of trash, I am a sinner, I am trouble, I am all of the above, I could go on forever and ever but i go to church because I NEED JESUS! That is what I preach. Not that i am great, and perfect and wonderful. Not that I am without sin! I preach that we all fall short of the glory of God and need to wise up!!! Those who are there with me realize that about themselves too and attend to be encouraged, reproved and rebuked! Christians are always falsely judged by the world. They sayyou think your so holy! Not by my own doings, but yes Christ blood makes me holy, (separate from the world), your making my point for me when you say that! You dont live what you preach!. I live exactly what I preach! I dont live what you think I preach! I dont preach the worlds version of the bible! Therefore, yes, I dont live what you think I preach! I preach every sunday that we are no good sinners and without Christ we are going to hell in a hen basket, and we need to wise up and get better before we end up in hell! Take a look in the mirror. It is those who do not attend church, do not pray, do not go to bible studys who are saying I dont need Christ! I dont need sharpened by other Christians, I dont need the Lords supper, I dont need studies, I dont need prayer! or maybe your one of those rare Christians, those ones the bible never mentions, the ones who are so powerful that they dont need the fellowship of other believers to defeat the devil, dont need to be taught or preached to because your a theologian, if so your selfish because there are so many at the church that need you...
