Its a rare pleasure to discover new music on accident, and get absolutely blown away. Thursdays I always go to the Santa Monica pier concerts w/ this big group, and usually we dont really pay much attention to the music, folks stand there and drink and catch up, just off the pier on the sand....but last night was different. For the first time, the music was too good to ignore, everyone was dancing... so in a moment of inspired genius Kristin Jacobson drags me up to the actual concert crowd in front of the stage on the pier, again, a first. What i found out later was that this infectious & fresh beat juggernaught was a fusion of dabke, folk, & electronica. It. was. a. blowout. So we get close to the stage and look to see the band thats carpet bombing our ears with awesome, and when we get close enough to see, our jaws dropped.
