Its a sad day when you realize your parrot companion has learned how to literally run in fear. Zeke, over the last two days, has learned to run (well its kind of a fast waddle) in fear. He has always moved away from objects and people he isnt sure of but never run across the table in fear of something before. But on a good note - he can fly again!!! He made it from the doorway of the kitchen all the way to the couch yesterday and from his cage to the back of Dennis office chair!!! Well he bounced off the chair and landed on the floor but he still made it all that way. Promptly pooped on the floor and looked at me like ok mom rescue me already and when I called him he climbed up my desk and waited for me to give him my finger to step-up on. But - regardless - hes a flying little man again! He was so proud of himself he was shakin a tail feather all over the place for like 10 minutes!! It was awesome!!! Proud mama I am.
