Its about bleeping time!!! Soldiers and families deserve excellent pastoral care. Standards were lowered during the war in Iraq. Chaplains were brought on active duty with no pastoral skill set and/or identity and we continue to pay a heavy price. We continue to tolerate behavior from Army Chaplains which would have led to being fired in the civilian world, while combat seasoned lines officers whove made a career and calling of doing the right thing, Majors and Captains, are being downsized.
