Its absolutely no secret that my mother and I keep my fathers grave immaculate. The first 2 pictures were taken the week before Memorial Day. When we showed up for Memorial Day, they hadnt messed with my dads grave, but if you look at the pictures, they pulled the sod that I had edged from around my brothers grave out of the garbage, threw away my pebbles, and put the sod back. The next 4 pictures are pictures of graves around my brothers grave on Memorial Day. They had time to destroy a beautiful grave, but didnt have time to take care of any graves that look like absolute crap!!!! This is what a person pays for, when burying their loved one at EVERGREEN MEMORIAL GARDENS. I have made more complaints than I can even count. I have sent emails, made phone calls, talked with Daniel Serres, Brad Carlson, Mary Carlson, and Lindsay Fisher many times over. I have got threats from Brad Carlson that he is going to sue me because they have been in business for 62 years and have what I (he) thinks is a strong reputation in the community. The fact is this....they do not keep up their cemetery in any way shape or form. I got a phone call from my mother on Thursday, and she was near tears. She had went to the cemetery to put flowers on my dads grave, only to find they have destroyed our manicured grave. So, I went up there today to take pictures. There is dirt all around my dads grave where the pebbles once were. So, I thought.....lets just really look around and see what needed taking care of, if you have so much time on your hands, what is it you should be doing???? You will see grave markets that are completely grown over with grass, markers that have weeds growing over them, dandelions in bloom and even gone to seed. Walkways that are filthy, and have dirt from moles on the walkway. So then I went to the military area. They edged those grave markers, and they are caked with dead grass, and you cant even see the names. I couldnt even sweep it off with my hand, it had been on there for so long. Then I head to the area of the cemetery that my brother is in. His grave is by far the nicest looking grave in that area, and they have completely taken out our pebbles and put dirt and are trying to make the grass grow up around it. The last few are in the area of my brothers grave. Once again, markers completely covered in over grown grass, and weeds. EVERGREEN MEMORIAL GARDENS is not a place you want to spend your money at. You will NOT get what you pay for, and if you choose to maintain the grave of your loved one, they will destroy it, because it makes the rest of the cemetery look so bad.....making them look bad. Why would you want to have any ONE grave stand out????? But they dont know.....my daddy ALWAYS stood out, and he will continue to do so!!!!! I encourage you to share these photos, so people will understand exactly whats going on at Evergreen Memorial Gardens cemetery.
