Its actually said like: Faw ughhh... (ie: FAUX PHO = Foe ---- Faw ughhh) Vietnamese-language is *tonal*. Foe - Foe is very dorky pompous white man. The benefit of his video is his example of a SMALL-SCALE serving plan, which Ive never seen before. Im used to only seeing large scale like with restaurant kitchens or family-household supply for a pho week. Otherwise, its a lot of work for just 1 or 2 meals. Therefore it is only in the mindset of a WHITE AMERICAN NOVELTY (fetish, exoticism) to go through all of this for a small result.... Like a white dude, hes missing the *simpler* final touches that even-out all ranges of quality-taste in any other authentic pho. ADDED CONDIMENTS ultimately finish out the taste. Aside from LEMON/LIME SLICES and CILANTRO, youd have to shop for entire bottles of PLUM SAUCE & SRIRACHA that wouldve otherwise been a Vietnamese household staple for use in other routinely made dishes. Since Mr. Foe - Foe doesnt have that foundation, he already set himself up for bland flavor despite all of this effort at something that is NOT hard to pronounce.
