Its always nice to catch up with good friends over the long holiday week-end.... an thats exactly what weve been doin with a couple chums that we went to high school with. We spent our mornin hours doin chores then worked on a photo submission for one of the equine publications that we freelance for. Later when everyone else was up an ready to, we all went down to the river. The dogs had a fantastic time jumpin in the river to soak as up as much water as they could, then would come back to shore to shake all the water off onto us while we all hunted for flat stones to skip across the river, or searched for rocks that had interestin shapes or swirls in em. We always find a few that need to come home with us.
