Its amazing how a true story movie can touch your heart and bring such pain. I cried so hard watching 12 year a slave. It brings such sadness that white ppl could be so heartless and do such horrific acts against another human because of the color of their skin. I have no idea how slavery became and how no one stopped it for years and years. I cant wrap my mind around hatred of this nature. And praise God that I am not of that time. I could not have been apart of it. And it brakes my heart to think we still have among us small minded ppl who still think they are above another person because of the color of their skin. And that goes from both sides of it. I believe strongly I have the right to disagree and I have nothing but love for all who was given life and if that offense you please feel free to unfriend me. Its heart breaking and I pray for all those who suffer this and I pray for those who inflict this on someone else.
