Its amazing how many childlike religious people, from all religions post on this page, and become quite heated, about what is in fact non-existent nonsense, that exists purely in their rather intellectually challenged minds! I am a normal human with an enquiring mind...I do not like to be called an athiest like its some type of alternative religion! Im Ian Gordon, a person who does not gobble down fictitious rubbish , because it makes me feel secure from my fears, and because I dont want to take responsibilty for my own actions....So much easier to just say Oh its Gods will! And...please spare me the same old, same old, stock answers whenever someone seems to threaten your belief system that appears to be so fragile, and unable to stand up to any critical or scientific scrutiny. Dont respond to this with quotes from Bible passages please, as to me theyre meaningless! When a religious person who make a claim about the existence of their god or gods depending on which religion, then the onus is on YOU to prove that existence and not on ME to disprove it. No one would have ever been religious, without someone first making that claim! Do Christians realise, that had they been born in India, they would most likely have been brought up as Hindus, and the reverse is true for Indians. If most Chinese had been brought up in Saudi Arabia, they would most likely be Muslim, so you see its not about any faith having any validity, but rather, its cultural, and depends where youre brought up. What Ive noticed in any of these debates if you can even give them the honour of being called debates, is how all the people from different religions are all so sure that THEIR religion is the one and only true one. The truth is, that theyre all man made fabrications, which were used to explain all those things that men and women did not have the education and knowledge to understand all those centuries back. It has also been used to keep followers in slavery and subservience through the ages, and which is pretty much the case today still, especially, with, but not confined to Islam.
