Its amazing how wrapped up we get in our acquisition of stuff. We live our lives, day to day, working our lives away to cling to the ideal that stuff equates to the American Dream. we spend two thirds of our lives working to hold on to our slice of what we feel we are entitled to. It isnt until we lose all of that stuff and are left with what most would consider nothing that we find ourselves in posession of those things that are truly important...our family, friends, loved ones, cherished memories, our integrity, our souls and the culmination of a lifetime of choices and the journey to that moment in time. You cant take it with you. Once you are gone, all that remains are the memories you shared with the ones you loved and who have loved you. That is the most precious thing you can leave...a legacy of truth, honor and love! Just sayin...
