Its amazing to me the hostility people direct toward you for your views is incredible. I dont voice my views on societal issues, politics, or religion publicly but on a very rare occasion. I have very definitive views. I do however, comment on blogs, news stories online with people I do not know. I say absolutely nothing derogatory toward them but yet they attack you personally with insults. I do question there views as some do mine. I respond to them in a kind and informative fashion. For the most part you get rude and insulting remarks in return instead of intelligent debate. Absolutely astonishes me! Have an opinion, great! Thats what makes a democracy. Just be prepared to discuss and qualify your opinion if you choose to criticize mine. Insults show ignorance.
