Its amazing to see how malleable people are. A few days ago they were yelling at the top of their voices against Keju, saying that he doesnt have any experience in governance, why should we trust our governance with him. Today though, Miss Smriti Irani is perfect for her job. One would assume she was the Chancellor / Vice Chancellor of a large university? No? Perhaps the Dean of a large college then? No? Senior lecturer somewhere? Not really? Well maybe she was a Senior TGT/PGT and understands the ground realities that her new job may entail. No? Junior school perhaps? Hell atleast Kindergarten? No. You see, all these roles and positions all have a basic educational criteria that you must fulfill in order to apply. She isnt even a graduate, so she isnt fit to teach children. But wait, she has two kids, she must have taught them SOMETHING. Thats good then i guess. Im sure shell do just fine deciding the nations education policies and leading human development building the India of tomorrow over the next five at the helm of what should be ANY nations most important ministry. Aa gaye acche din. Soon we should be able to apply to any position/office anything regardless of criteria or experience. And this got me thinking, Ive always wanted to be a surgeon ...
