Its barely 8am, and Ive had an adventure... I am very tired this morning, and groggily stumbled my way into the elevator up to my office...apparently, some part of me or my bag hit the emergency call button! I didnt realize until I heard a phone ringing over the speakers in the elevator...and on comes this incredibly chipper voice (you already KNOW thats enough to drive a tired person crazy!)... Hes like, Gooood Morning! This is *insert name and name of emergency agency*, please state the nature of your emergency! Im like....uhhh *stutter and mumble and grumble* it was an accident sir, Im not in an emergency. But if I WAS...Im gonna need you to come on the phone sounding in dire straits, just like my emergency!! Like HELLO?! Is anyone there?? Ok, first just tell me - are you ok??? Take a breath, keep calm, were gonna figure a way out of this, and Im gonna be on the line with you every step of the way!! I dont want to feel like you may or may not be smiling when youre taking my emergency call. On that note...Happy Monday. ;)
