Its become so rare nowadays to fall in love with somebody and stay in love with them. People seem to forget how beautiful it is to grow old with someone, to build and witness someones progress and to conquer obstacles as a team instead of facing them alone. I guess theres no thrill in that for them. Theres no thrill in knowing somebody like the back of your hand. I guess thats why you can say Im an old soul. I dont need to go out all of the time and switch people up every other week to fulfill my boredom with temporary happiness. I always wanted something real, someone so genuine that theyre worth lasting a lifetime with. Someone whos willing to invest the time and effort thats needed to win instead of forfeiting when theres no coming back. I understand that its nearly impossible to count on someone with all of your heart and soul. Its more dangerous, if anything, but I guess thats why you can count me in as one of the rare ones. Im not just in it for a reason, season, or lifetime. Im in it for all three.
