Its been 1 year since these 3 entered our lives and I must admit theyve turned us on our heads. Stress levels hitting record highs, extreme conflicting emotions, a breakdown and even a few naughty little Fs thrown around the place just wondering WTH is going on, but after 1 Full year of having them, watching them grow and develop, I wouldnt change a thing. Weve had to say to ourselves its not their fault so now I would rather, no matter how many years it may take, traverse the steep hills and rocky roads to a better life for and together with them than to have them wander the dark alleys of Downtown Auckland alone. A mention also that my wife and I couldnt of done it without the best support in the world. The best Great Grandparents living nextdoor who are always there for us, the Whole Te Rangi whanau for you unconditional aroha, Antactica and Te Wharekura O Ngati Rongomai for helping us get them off to the best start in life but most of all... My own kids, Shaq n Bubbagirl but especially Tiaki, Rakaea and Te Ahikaa who suddenly had to share everything that they had in their lives with 3 other kids, including their mum and dad. You kids are the strongest most understanding kids a parent could ask for and I know that its been harder for you guys than it has been for us but you maintain your Mana as you have been taught. On a positive it hasnt all been doom n gloom and out of control, we have had some good Fs thrown around the place as well... Fun... Food.... Festivities... F(wh)anau and this year has been full of those...
