Its been 7 long, painful days since moms surgery to remove the arterial embolism and she seems to finally be on the road to recovery!! A team of vascular surgeons, cardiologists, foot specialist, and rheumatologists have worked together to try to control her pain levels and identify the cause of the initial blood clots. They anticipate she will be released from the hospital on Friday then continue with blood thinners and at home wound care until her left leg fully heals. The biggest blessing came tonight when we heard her laughing hysterically for the first time in a week, Melissa McCarthy makes everything better!! Thank you all for the continued love, prayers, and support!
