Its been 7 years today since Dad went home. Wounds heal, Scars remain. The world keeps turning, and I think Ive found my way alright without him here to catch me now and again. Ive finally become the man he always believed was in me. Im lucky to have a strong woman at my side just like he had in Momma. When I was just a young boy, my daddy came to me, said son Out in this world theres a lotta things thatll make you feel like your supposed to be. You dont have to read the good book, to be a good man just the same. And forget about the money, money aint brought nothing to your daddy but pain.
