Its been a a little over a month now since I had surgery on both knees. I was obviously not listening when the surgeon said it could be months for recovery time, I might not have done it had I known...or maybe I would have considering I was in such bad shape. Its been a rough few weeks. I am severely limited as to what I can do, my pain is still significant but Ive had teeny tiny brief moments of where the pain was better to almost gone. It doesnt last long and then Im back to my wobbly self. Its taken a big spoon for me to swallow my pride and walk with a cane...even bigger one to let my bestie push me around the stores in a wheel chair. There have been moments of total despair and depression but Im getting up each day doing my physical therapy and hoping. Hoping and praying Im given a second chance with these knees, I still have a lot of walking to do and someday I will need to dance at Gabbys wedding...oh how I miss dancing.
