Its been a bitter sweet week. It has been interesting to say the least, I swear we had the corner room from hell and possessed. As always the chemo and the IV machine dont like to co-operate together, the staff and pharmaceutical staff have worked hard to try to resolve the issue. Kyle has progressed in his physical therapy this week, cant thank Megan enough for always pushing him. We are half way through the cycles :) and we got some good news the mass in the chest and the spots on the liver are no longer visible. But we have a long road still ahead of us concerning the bones. Keeping the faith and positive attitude will get us to full recovery so help me god. We continue to reflect on those around us that send prayers, cards, meals and financial assistance, and those that send a text or stop by and visit. We cant do this alone without the help of family and friends. We have truly been blessed by so many. This week I visited with a childhood friend that I have not seen in over 30 years, Suzanne Parker it was a pleasure getting to see you again and I promise in the future we will do lunch. And happy birthday Suzanne may your day be filled with sunshine and many happy memories. Many people will touch your life in a special way and Melissa Ramsey you have a very special place in our hearts. You are a true hero to your profession, the Mothers and babies have gained a dedicated nurse, we love you and will miss you here in South Tower. Looking forward to being outside of the hospital until August 11 as we come back for cycle 5, hoping to get a little break for us both but having my doubts as the appointments are starting to show up! So I guess Kyle we will just have to settle with having just a Saturday and Sunday to sleep in. Its just a hiccup in life and smooth sailing is just ahead!
