Its been a good day today! The one bit of excitement was that Laurels sats dropped to about 90. They did a chest x-ray and saw some fluid, so they gave her Lasix and her sats were back up within 10 minutes. Otherwise...reports are that the one BM she had since I last posted had no blood (but keep in mind, shes still only receiving nutrition through her IV - weve got a ways to go on that road), shes not had a fever in about 20 hours, and her heart rates been below 110 all day. She looks more alert than she has in *weeks*. She is watching me intently right now. I cant remember the last time she did that. Theres talk that she may be moved out of the PICU soon - Ill let you know if/when she is! Thank you so much for all your prayers and positive thoughts - they seem to be working!
