Its been a little over two weeks since my daddys been gone......yes he was my stepdad, he was not of my blood, but he was my daddy!! I have two dads who i love very much!!! My stepdad is who raised me. He took me to the movies, doctors, school, taught me how to drive, bought my first car. He let me know what he thought of my boyfriends (lol), took us on vacations, hugged and kissed me every day, called me sug. He is the one Larry asked if he could marry me, he is the dad i wanted to walk me down the aisle. I never really called him dad i never wanted my blood father to be hurt by that. But it was always hard for my friends to know who i was talking about. I would say my dad...... He was my Bubbles, he raised me, loved me, and was there for me since i was 9 yrs old. (he never spanked me. Lol ) God gave us 5 days to say goodbye. Our family was with him his last hour. He came home on hospice that afternoon. He told each of us how much he loved us and kissed us. He was holding my moms hand as he took his last breath. It hurts so much and seems like a bad dream. He was the best dad!! He was the only dad that has always been there for me. He wanted to be with us. He never complained about taking care of us. He was more than just a step dad. He was my everything. I keep thinking of all of the memories, of all of the things he would say, how he would stand, walk... I dont know why people always say he is in a better place, it does not take the hurt away. I know time will help. I still miss him!!!!!
