Its been a long couple of weeks. Ive been buried deep in a case, which is still ongoing, about a father and his son who told his mother (the sons grandmother) that she was dying from a very aggressive form of cancer. Turned out she never had the disease, but her mind is not always clear, with the onset of Dementia. Seems sonny-boy found the mothers bank account very tasty and this gave him unfettered access. It took awhile, but I de-fanged him. Hell do some time, and his son suddenly moved out of state. The law will catch up. So sad how loyalty means nothing to some people, but everything to others. Glad I belong to the latter. I recall the suspect I sent to his just rewards, Zachary Marshall, who as evil as he was, he did love his mother. Makes one think.
