Its been a wet few days here in the valley. We have weathered four storms, and we only lost power once. Theres a boil water advisory for the valley but luckily we are on the well and our water is fantastic. Except for this water, the water in the video below, its not fantastic, its where it shouldnt be... The basement. However this 80-year-old house seems to of been built with room for a little bit of flooding in the basement. All the appliances are on 8 raised concrete beds. The sump pump is handling most of it until it dries up and we can patch it. Heres hoping for a sunny weekend. Im a little sore from crouching in small damp places for two days. Really enjoy the warm baths today, ironically getting more wet. I guess farm life isnt all donkeys and pastoral pastures.
