Its been a while since my adrenalin went into orbit over a FB discussion. But when I posted about Bill Cosbys criminal hypocrisy in a group, some guy entered the discussion agreeing with Cosby about dead beat Black fathers & drastically higher gun homicide rates among Black teens. He didnt mention the drastically higher gun homicide rate against Black teens. Soon, in the way narcissists do, he turned the discussion into being all about him. But Im learning that isnt just personal; its a switch & bait to counter any cogent discussion on the subject at hand, a subject he disagreed with. Narcissism can make a fool reckless though. The fellow went on to argue (complete with video documentation) that not only are Blacks morally inferior, but women are intellectually inferior & white men & Jews intellectually superior. He elaborated the anti-science of racial differences that he claimed would be observable even in a pile of bones. His intellectual sources included Steven Pinker, the evo psycho from Harvard. When challenged, the unfortunate fellow asserted his authority as a teacher in an Ivy League school (adding elitism to his psychic troubles). The same one George Bush went to? Or the one where Henry Kissinger taught? You cant argue with such smarmy crap & it isnt worth it. So hes over there still blowing smoke up peoples butts & trying to cover his own. Parents have to be careful how they raise their sons in self-respect lest they go overboard & the kid ends up really believing hes an oracle when hes closer to an ass. Now there! Ive vented my spleen. I feel better already.
