Its been a year of me pushing my fitness to the back burner. Im the lightest Ive been since I was 20 years old. Im lifting half the weight I used to. My energy levels are ridiculously low. My stress/cortisol levels have never been higher. While still considered, fit...i dont even recognize myself any longer. Life gets busy and responsibilities pile on, but Im realizing its a real task to make time for your own health/fitness. When I was a trainer, I couldnt understand how some of my clients didnt WANT to go to the gym after work. Now, Im humbled - i completely understand. Ive been pushing workouts to the next day for far too long in lieu of business-related activities/work. No amount of business is more important than my self-worth/confidence/attitude/happiness/health. Im getting back on track - making fitness my priority once again. Money is great and all, but its tangible. Health and state of mind, is not. It must be cultivated and cared for - thats where Im headed once again. (Not like you care or anything but ya know)
