Its been almost a month since we all took to the polls to vote in the independence referendum. An unprecedented number engaged in the political process in the weeks and months before the referendum. Regardless of the outcome Its been said mainstream politics in the UK will never be the same again and the power is in the hands of the people. Id encourage all those who engaged in the debate to stay engaged. More powers have been promised to the people of Scotland. The Smith Commission wants to hear the views of Scottish people on what those powers should be. So Google it and send them an email, it will take you less than ten minutes. Secondly get in touch with your local MP, better yet turn up at there office and make sure the promise of more powers is on their agenda they head down to Westminster. Lets keep the promise for more powers on the agenda, then they wont be able to ignore us and renegade on the vow. Although its not the prize many of us would have wanted we still have a chance to make Scotland a more just country for all of us to live in.
