Its been an amazing morning here at the Annual Conference. The day began with music from the African Chorus. Five students representing Peru, Hong Kong, Palestine, Syria, and Nigeria spoke of non-violent movements in their countries. Siraba Ndiaye 14 Senegal gave an overview of Martin Luther King and Ghandis philosophies. Then Kazu Haga, an expert in Kingian non-violence, spoke, explaining that non-violence isnt simply the absence of violence but action taken to bring about social justice.
