Its been an amazing week. A lot of guys not only got why misogyny is such a scourge but stood up with us and spoke up about it. And then there were those other guys, the bullies, the #NotAllMen hijackers, the angry dudes (why are antifeminists so angry?), the wilfully clueless. I think the next stage of feminism is mens work, in large part. White racists never cared what people of color thought, but when other white people made it clear racism was vulgar, repulsive, evil, etc., that made them think (or yeah, I know, go underground and dogwhistle and shit, but it still took away power and legitimacy from that view). Misogynists dont care what women think, but if other men make it clear that they find that stuff (often uttered in all-male spheres) offensive, pathetic, and factually challenged, thats going to matter. The not all men framework thinks that all a guy has to do is not rape people to be a good guy (and he should get a cookie for it too). But no ones neutral in this war.
