Its been an eventful week, last Friday took Residency application to Ortaca police, collected said application papers Wednesday (Bayram Monday) then off to Mugla Thursday. Cost to date: 167.20 tl Ortaca tax office 16 May (each) 158.00 tl UK pension translation/noter 16 May (me) 50.00 tl Mugla tax office 23 May (each) 215.00 tl Mugla PTT 23 May (each) In the words of the immortal Ian Drury Hit me with another bill-hit me hit me, what there for I dont know still-hit me-hit me- HIT MEEEE!!. :/ Just in case they forget to tell you in Ortaca ??? You first have to go and get your papers stamped at the Velilik office (please forgive spelling?) in Mugla before going to Mugla police. This office, the tax office and PTT are all within walking distance of the LARGE traffic island that has a statue of Attaturk? on it. The Velilik office actually fronts onto the island. Off course whilst in Mugla it is obligatory to go to Kipa? L C Waikiki? Mavi? etc etc. AND THE BEST THING IS--NEXT YEAR WE GET TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN----WAHOOOOOO!!!!
