Its been another windy night with gust speeds topping severe gale 9 again (56mph up here). High wind warnings remain in place on the A87 Skye Bridge. It looks like the the next few days will be rather cloudy but dry and quite breezy, though wind speeds should die down a little before picking up again later next week. Saturday looks like a mostly cloudy but windy day. It should remain dry for the bulk of the day with some lucky locations seeing a bit of sunshine. Rain associated with fronts will move in later this afternoon / early evening giving us a damp and windy end to the day. Average temperatures around 13 or 14C. Overnight rain should clear by dawn on Sunday leaving leaving a fair bit of cloud to start. This will break up at times giving a mostly fine day with some sunny spells. Good news, the wind should reduce quite a bit through the day, and there should be little if any rain. Temperatures look average, around 12C for most. Next week, fine and mostly dry on Monday but winds pick up into Tuesday with some rain looking likely. Whatever you are up to have a great weekend :-)
