Its been busy in the area with fires. the fire this morning was caused by a light fixture over heating, scene many times before birds like to build nest by the light for heat and or protection. the nest are made of incendiary materials that dry out and are exposed to heat. what YOU can do is check your out door light fixtures for nests and remove the nests. fires that start outside the home first are the worst because there is no detection system in place. chimneys are another culporate. have a specialist check your chimney. check your co and smoke detector for proper function. be safe!
