Its been hard to be hopeful today. But. The party conferences are taking place soon, and Im planning to head along to a few of them to see what theyve got to say post #indyref. And Im looking forward to RICs post-referendum conference in November. Am also going to keep reading. The Spirit Level by Richard Wilkinson & Kate Pickett helped me understand inequality and its consequences more fully; Common Weal has been inspirational in terms of the policy changes we could make; Blossom by Lesley Riddoch was also fantastic. Id recommend all three if you havent already read them. Next up for me is The Poor Had No Lawyers by Andy Wightman and The Establishment by Owen Jones. Any other recommendations gratefully received.
