Its been just over 80 hours since the Prairie Chicken Festival live Regional Media coverage started! And as our live coverage comes to an end, the broadcaster in me is wore out. However, I am truly #happy as It is so amazing working with Dianne Packee, Dennis Packee, and Russell Medley! These events mean the world to small communities and are a part of the very survival of a town. Its hard to look back today at the challenges we faced branding Kewanee. At times we thought the mountain was high, but everyone continued to push forward regardless of naysayers or negitve people. Today Kewanee is known for so much more than faults or shortcomings. Kewanee is a proud town with major buzz! Kewanee is a wonderful community that we as a group are proud to serve. Hats off to all that help Kewanee! We are not done, as the work continues. Just a stroll around town should open your eyes at the changes in the past few years! Again, Thank You to all the volunteers, committee members, advisors, and resident cheerleaders, your efforts do not go unnoticed! PS. Get out to see Comatose Catfish tonight! They are wonderful!
