Its been one busy weekend Blades fans! On Friday January 2nd the boys traveled out to East Aurora to play against the Hamburg Hawks on the outdoor ice rink. After a slight delay on the ice for cleanup due to a bug that has hit almost every kid this past week, the boys took off and skated hard. Blades won 7-0. Saturday afternoon the Rochester Grizzlies came into town. Both teams sounded off loud letting each other know Who They Are before they took the ice. In a very tight puck battle during the game the Blades took a two to nothing lead deep into the third. The Grizzlies scored a late goal but the Blades held them off in the final seconds to win 2-1. Then today Sunday the boys traveled out to Rochester to take on the Grizzlies again. Yet another delay on the ice held the game start time 20minutes late... This time it was Zamboni driver error! Once the puck dropped the Blades got the scoring started and were able to hold off all of Rochesters scoring chances. The 07 Blades won 5-0 !! Great job by everyone these past couple of days on and off the ice!
