Its been quite the last couple of days for Disneys Frozen to say the least. Winning two Academy Awards and crossing the $1 Billion mark is an incredible feat and I cant be more proud of all involved. And with the film still needing to be released in Japan later this month, theres no end in sight. Its finally time for Walt Disney Animation to raise the crown for animated films and rightfully so. For too long theyve been in the shadow of Pixar and in some cases Dreamworks financially and critically which isnt necessarily a bad thing since since competition stirs creativity. WDA is back on top where it belongs! With their most recent releases which include The Princess and the Frog, Tangled, Wreck it Ralph, and Frozen, I dare say WDA could be entering, if not already in its third golden age of animation. Only time will tell with the release of Big Hero 6 this fall. I for one cant wait to line up! Congrats again to Walt Disney Animation! Keep em coming!
