Its been two weeks now since we completed our 2014 Philippines - TopicsExpress

Its been two weeks now since we completed our 2014 Philippines Missions/Teaching Trip. Praise the Lord, it only took a week to get over the jet lag this time around. Nevertheless, theres a lot of things to catch up with after being gone a month. This STM/T was a whirlwind tour that began over a month ago with our home church SBCAC and FCF sending us off and together with a couple dozen individuals supporting us financially. Through one partner church we were able to distribute 50 pounds worth of books (over a hundred books) to pastors and leaders And so to our church and those individuals thank you! Your reward does not come in the form of PASALUBONG but dividends accruing and preserved in heaven. The following statistics might interest you: We traveled approximately 23,000 miles on 14 different airplanes. Daniel and Ptr Felix spent a total of 744 hours of iron sharpening iron discipleship ministered to approximately 1,200 people in a variety of venues (seminars, Bible study, chapel and worship services), Church Leaders coming from influential roles in politics to tribal pastors and everything in between. Daniel also taught three different classes (Communication, Spiritual Formation Class). For lodging we stayed in 5 different hotels, 2 homes and a faculty dorm. Our Philippine team and hosts varied as well: Manila/CCT/CCF team: Ptr EJ Del Mundo and Sis Cerela Camiguine/CCF team: Brother Bobby, Edith M, Edith T; EBCS, Zamboanga team: Ptr Don D; Dr Averell GenSan Team: Bro Edmar, Ptr Eugene N, and Ptr Julife T These teams provided the necessary ground work for us to accomplish our teaching ministry. They took care of the logistics, travels, accommodations and promotion. We were well taken care of during our whole stay from eating exotic fruits and foods to diving into the deep waters off the southern tip of the Philippine archipelago. We are excited for what the Lord of the Church is doing in gathering these men and women to open up more doors of teaching opportunities for the coming years to come (as the Lord tarries). Invitations to have more and larger venues for next year have already been made. Lastly, we want to thank the Lord also for you who prayed for us all along the way. We believe that as hectic and complicated as our schedule were everything went smoothly because people like you were praying for us. Your prayer support is such a koinonia (partnership) in ministry, that despite the distance in time and space, provided the synergistic results that we see. Ptr Felix looks forward to going back again next year with another disciple. Please continue to pray for a fruitful result of what was accomplished this year. In preparation for next year please consider assisting in the acquisition of MacArthur and ESV Study Bibles for the pastors and students. Soli Deo Gloria
