Its currently February 3, 2014 1:56am. Im up researching as usual and have no one to talk to. Soooo, Ill just talk to you all. The only thing that is on my mind right now is my journey to success. I believe to get what you want, you have to do what youve never done. I think about this as I achieve and learn from my accomplishments. As a PVAMU Senior majoring in Business Marketing and Administration, I am destined for greatness because I am grinding each and everyday to make that happen. Not only have I sat in classes and gotten grades while in college, but Ive EXPERIENCED everything. I dont take anything for granted while being in undergrad. College is not the most easiest place to stay in, but its the most worth it. PVAMU has blessed my road to success in so many ways. Being a student on the hill is such an honor, we dont step on the grass for that reason. Our school is built on top of slave plantation, second oldest higher education facility and produces productive people. We are home of some Hall of Fame athletes, Mr. T, Kirko Bangz, . This is not a party, disease infested, raggedy school. My HBCU is home of the Marching Storm whom was also featured on last years Super Bowl show. Club Chic, one of the oldest organizations to still be present on campus since 1962. Ive been blessed to be the President of this women empowerment organization for 2 years now. Its taught me a plethora of ways on how to be a great leader, woman and listener. I will forever be classy, elegant, respected and fashionaly dressed, BECAUSE I AM CHIC. Ive grown a lot in the past 4 years. Yes, I said 4. So what I didnt make it our of college in 4 years. We all have to pay Sallie her money for borrowing it. Ive developed a respect for life. Ive found love in the some of the worlds most beautiful people, flowers, trees, languages, foods, fashion and more. You can say quite a few people know me at my school. Some say I walk around like Im too good. But thats cool. Obviously those people do not know me. But anyway. Ive learned to take criticism and give it. Not everything is worth getting emotional over. Somethings are just business. As of right now, I am working on my brand of being The Beauty of PR. From getting a makeup line to sponor me (Mowet Cosmetics), building clientele to contribute to my resume and being a fashionista, I am making progress. My vision is very well thought out and now I just need people that can help me get this idea off the ground. Graphic Designers, Hair Stylist (Gotta keep my hur did lol), Make up artist, Assistant, Business Manager, Creative Team, Website (already bought domain) and a camera crew. Im constantly meeting people and networking and these are both great to contribute to my succes. Having a team will help make these things continue to happen. Network should equal Networth. I know how it feels to be absolutle broke and only having a box of Ramen noodles and water for a meal everyday until there is no more. Im not going back to that lifestyle.
