Its disappointing to hear about certain bitter individuals still - TopicsExpress

Its disappointing to hear about certain bitter individuals still wanting to live in the past, despite it being a New Year. Some of the old guard will never accept what the public want, and will try every dirty trick in the book, like posting anonymous stuff online, or bickering among themselves - only to find that they are winding themselves up. Im all for leaving them to wallow in their cesspit of despair. Thats the problem with some people, they blame everyone else for their crappy existence. I just smile at them, and carry on evolving :) T4C rightly challenged CBCs record to bring about last years referendum - they had no answers, and to be honest, a few are still looking for excuses. Move with the times, will you? Whats in the past, is in the past. Its very worrying that you cant change, but it is no surprise. T4C have changed direction - you saw that when we wished Cllr Woodburn well in her retirement announced prior to Christmas. It was the right thing to do, and I challenge anyone to say that it wasnt. Its going to be a long winding road to the elections in May. Who will be our MP? Our Councillors? Our Mayor? Thats down to you. If I had one wish for 2015, it would be that EVERY elected representative in Copeland was an independent - I know its an awful lot to ask. The old guard have had their turn. Now its time for the public to lead the way. T4C have been quiet of late, and we will continue in the same vein for the foreseeable future. Weve changed. Have you? Happy New Year. ---- Ps. Some of you will have been members on the Open Debate group that I created last year, and might be wondering what happened to it. The group was deleted - it wasnt going in the direction that I wanted, and was turning into a typical FB outlet for venting frustrations. T4C were also being blamed for the actions of others. Some will try anything to discredit us - An analogy of this would be like someone being caught for not paying a TV licence, and then blaming the BBC. The logic of some is very strange.
