Rather than stand on either side of the aisle and say I told you so, why not take a break from bi-partisanship for 5 bloody minutes and recognize wtf reality is: ISIL/ISIS is a deplorable, hateful organization that is no longer a haphazard thorn in the side of those in favor of diplomacy or any semblance of a peaceful Middle East. This is a serious problem that calls for a serious solution. These arent under-educated jihadists. These are radical fundamentalists with a relatively organized war infrastructure and an even more sophisticated propaganda campaign, recruiting at a staggering rate. Its not the time to worry about mid-term election results. Strong, concise and unilateral action by both sides of the aisle is requisite to fight an enemy this united in its hatred of those outside the Islamic State. What chance do we stand against an organized radical militant group if we can not defend against our own partisan politics..? Before liberals or conservatives, democrats or republicans, we all ought to be patriots.
