Its finally come time to sell my project bike, I bought the bike at the start of the summer to have some fun on, which turned into a rather large project. and its had a lot of work done , including; Full rear swing arm bearing assembly. Gear box oil change new stater and flywheel Front master cylinder rebuild Spark plug Piper Cross cone filter (also up jetted carb) New chain Full paint job and Lucky Strike sticker kit Rear wheel bearings Clear double bubble screen New Michelin Pilot Sports front and rear. There is probably more Ive missed. The bike rides well and is very fast for a learner legal bike, and handling is absolutely spot on and a joy to ride, the new Michelin Pilot sports grip very well. it will out corner any of the big bikes. The previous owner said to me that it had a full rebuild in February but I dont have the paper work to prove this, only that the barrel does appear to be new. The bike looks very good and gets a lot of attention, but sadly the paintwork is not perfect and could use tidying up in places. also the speedo is faulty, which seams to me a very common problem with the RS. All it needs is a new speedo drive, I just never got round to doing it. I didnt use the bike as a daily runner and was only taken out on those nice summer days, unless i got caught out with the British weather.
