Its finally official. On March 4th (one month from now), Ill be on a plane to Quito, Ecuador, to volunteer in the Environmental Sustainability program in the Cloud Forest(a part of the Amazon Rainforest)! During those two months ill be learning to farm organically, grow alternative medicine, help repair the hiking trails in the Amazon, and much more. It may not sound too fun to some, but being that Sustainability is what I plan on basing my career around (or at the very least, apply to my own personal life), I cannot explain how excited I am to be given this opportunity! Hoping its the first of many to come. :)
