Its funny after going through lots of tough stuff over the years very small things, especially lately bring peace and joy. Like a backyard swing in the evening, a dog that thinks drinking from the hose involves sticking her whole face in it, a hummingbird, my daughter singing or laughing. Moments are so precious and it is too easy to take them for granted. Thankful for the good moments that help ease sadness and pain. I realize I am developing a greater depth but it certainly is not easy. Grateful that my husband has remained ever positive throughout and Ariana has a natural sense of joy. I tend to deal with the loss of Lexi head on and open, which subjects me to greater pain but hopefully will help me get through it in the long run. I have a brilliant counselor that blends the science of what is happening to me with an enternal perspective. Thankyou for all that think of our family often. We are making it. This life its bumpy and takes a lot of unexpected turns. My life seems to be so much about facing my biggest fears and living right through them. Not sure where I will end up. But I hope its better than where I started.
